FLIR Talon™ MMS

FLIRSIM

FLIRSIM is a portable, easy to set up and use, all-inclusive system-level training device that provides the functional equivalency of an FAA FTD level 6 simulator for FLIR Star SAFIRE 380 family sensor operators. FLIRSIM, developed by MAG Aerospace, can replicate any real-world scenario or environment on demand to improve safety on live missions. Time spent using the FLIRSIM enhances operator mission effectiveness and accomplishment. FLIRSIM delivers direct operational cost savings normally incurred during training.

HD Zoom 30

The HDZoom 30 is a fully-integrated, high performance electro-optical camera payload designed for demanding applications that require clear and precise images. Integrating seamlessly with the SkyRanger UAS, the HDZoom 30 offers 3-axis stabilization to capture detailed video and still photos, even under extreme environmental conditions. The HDZoom 30 delivers up to 30x optical zoom and 60x enhanced digital zoom for eyes-on-target at distances up to 5 km (3.1 miles).

Unmanned Ground Systems

FLIR FirstLook

FLIR FirstLook is a throwable, rugged, and expandable robot that provides immediate situational awareness, performs persistent observation and investigates dangerous and hazardous material while keeping its operator out of harm’s way. FirstLook allows operations where other robots can’t fit or maneuver. This rugged, lightweight robot can be inserted into structures and provides operators with visual, audio, and sensor feedback before entry. The robot climbs small obstacles, overcomes curbs, turns in place and self-rights when flipped over.

FLIR SUGV

FLIR SUGV is a portable, single-person-lift robot with dexterous manipulation for dismounted and mobile operations. SUGV provides dismounted EOD technicians and other responders with a highly mobile robot that climbs stairs and manipulates objects. SUGV is carried and deployed from packs while on the move. The robot weighs about 30 lb (13 kg) with the manipulator and batteries installed. The SUGV manipulator lifts up to 22 lb (10 kg).

FLIR PackBot

FLIR PackBot is a man-transportable robot that performs bomb disposal, surveillance and reconnaissance, CBRN detection and HazMat handling operations. PackBot easily climbs stairs and navigates narrow passages, relaying real-time video, audio and sensor data while the operator stays at a safer, standoff distance. The PackBot manipulator lifts up to 44 lb (20 kg). PackBot is deployable by one person in under two minutes. The robot stows neatly in vehicle, even fitting in a car’s trunk.

FLIR Centaur

FLIR Centaur is the Man Transportable Robotic System Increment II (MTRS Inc II) solution. This remotely operated, medium-sized system provides a standoff capability to detect, confirm, identify and dispose of hazards. The fully-IOP compliant, open architected robot has a standard chassis and modular mission payloads in support of current and future missions. Centaur supports Engineers, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) and EOD Soldiers. Centaur is currently only available to the United States DOD.

FLIR Kobra

FLIR Kobra provides unmatched strength, power, and payload support in an easy-to-operate robot package. Kobra has a lift capacity of 330 lb (150 kg) and stretches up to a height of eleven feet, six inches, gaining access to hard-to-reach places, making it an ideal counter-vehicle borne I.E.D. robot. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, Kobra maintains mobility on tough terrain. Unique in its class, the robot can surmount challenging obstacles such as jersey barriers.

FLIR Scorpion

FLIR Scorpion is a lightweight, rugged robot with superior mobility and advanced manipulation able to tackle dangerous situations. Scorpion easily slips in and out of rucksacks and is protected from drops at any angle, thanks to a patented arm that stays between and under the tracks. Scorpion’s manipulator arm offers five degrees of freedom and continuous 360-degree rotation to easily reach hard to access areas. Scorpion is currently only available to the United States DOD.
